EAST PROVIDENCE — After issuing a “Silver Alert” earlier Friday, April 4, the East Providence Police Department has determined the whereabouts of city resident John Golouski.
Mr. Golouski, 61, was last seen in city Thursday morning, April 3, walking away from the group home in which he resides on Central Avenue.
He was found found Friday by Central Falls Police on Broad Street there. Mr. Golouski told responding officers he just “wanted to go for a walk.”
According to an on-line mapping service, Central Avenue in East Providence to Broad Street in Central Falls is a distance of 9.2 miles and takes approximately 15 minutes to traverse by car.
Police described Mr. Golouski as a 6 foot, 6 inch white male, who weighs approximately 170 pounds. He as blue eyes and brown hair.
