murder-andrew-jett4-260x194PROVIDENCE — Murder suspect Andrew Jett entered a plea of not guilty during when he was arraigned Wednesday, April 16, in the 2012 death of Michelle Busby.

His next court date is July 16 for a pre-trial conference. Attorney General Peter Kilmartin filed notice of intent with the Court that the office is seeking life without the possibility of parole.

Mr. Kilmartin is seeking life without the possibility of parole against Mr. Jett for the murder of Ms. Busby based on the severity of the crime, which meets the standard of proof of aggravated battery and torture.

A Providence County Grand Jury reported out an indictment charging Mr. Jett with one count of murder in March.
