CRANSTON — With a ticket purchased in city as well, an East Providence woman won $164,147 in the Rhode Island Lottery “Wild Money” rolling jackpot Thursday night, Sept. 18.
According to a RILOT press release, the woman plays the same numbers, for birthdays and her wedding anniversary, repeatedly. The winning numbers were 8, 12, 13, 18, 27.
She had her husband double check to be sure her numbers matched all five numbers drawn. The couple was said to be “very thankful and will talk over what to do with their new fortune while enjoying a nice bottle of wine.”
The winning ticket was purchased at the East Providence Mobil “On the Run” located on 900 Wampanoag Trail.
