EAST PROVIDENCE — The City of East Providence hosts its 2015 Black History Month Celebration Wednesday night, Feb. 25, in the City Hall Chamber beginning at 6 p.m.
The guest speaker this year is Kobi Dennis, Project Night Vision Founder. The night also includes Raffini, Rhode Island Black Storytellers; Onna Moniz-John’s Memorabilia Collection; Artwork by East Providence Students; Song selections by East Providence Children’s Choir; and the Cape Verdean Student Association.
The family friendly event is free and open to the public. East Providence City Hall is located at 145 Taunton Ave.
